For more than two decades, Knistermann has been active in the German and European B2B market. We supply headshops, online retailers, kiosks, specialty stores and now also pharmacies with a diverse range of smoking accessories, hemp and grow products, kiosk items as well as gift and trend products.
With a product range of more than 3,500 items, we offer our customers a wide selection and a constantly growing portfolio – from classic smoking accessories to innovative new products and our own product developments.
The roots of Knistermann go back to the late 1990s. Founder and owner Franco Braca was already working as a self-employed sales representative in the field of trend and gift products, gradually building a network of retailers and business partners.
In 2002, together with his then business partner Kim Sührer, the idea of founding their own wholesale company was born. The combination of trend items, gift products and smoking accessories quickly struck a chord with the market and was well received by retailers.
From a small selection of products – including ashtrays, grinders and the then new blunts – a growing wholesale business developed within a short time.
As the company continued to grow, so did the team and the need for space. In 2009, Knistermann moved to Grefrath, where the company’s headquarters are still located today.
Over the years, Knistermann has developed into an established name in the market. Many of our suppliers and customers have been working with us for many years – partnerships built on trust, reliability and mutual respect.
Within the industry, Knistermann has also become a well-known constant. Founder and owner Franco Braca has stood for continuity and reliability in the market for many years and is a valued contact for many business partners.
For many years, our extensive printed catalog of around 250 pages served as the central working tool for our customers – complemented by flyers, product updates and personal consultation.
With the launch of our webshop in 2014, a new chapter began for Knistermann. Online commerce allowed us to react more quickly to trends, make new products immediately available and keep our product range up to date at all times.
In spring 2026, we will take the next step with a completely redesigned and modern webshop – offering improved navigation, faster processes and even greater convenience for our B2B customers.
The market for smoking accessories continues to evolve. New trends, technological developments and, most recently, regulatory changes such as the new cannabis legislation in Germany are shaping the industry.
As a wholesale distributor, we closely monitor these developments and continuously adapt our product range to changing market conditions.
In addition to distributing established brands, we are increasingly focusing on our own product developments and exclusive imports. Together with strong partners, we create new products and brands such as Choosypapers, Tütenfutter, and Truemidity, all developed with the needs of our customers in mind.
Challenging times such as the COVID-19 pandemic were successfully overcome thanks to a dedicated team, reliable suppliers and loyal customers. These experiences once again confirmed how important long-term partnerships, flexibility and mutual trust are.
Today, Knistermann is an established wholesale supplier of smoking accessories in Germany and throughout Europe. Our focus remains on a diverse product range, reliable delivery, strong partnerships with suppliers and retailers, and a keen sense for new trends and developments.
